overall ranking of 5th place. In the following offseason, the team rebranded as The Gorillas.

In 2016, FRC switched to the current district system. That year, our alliance in the tournament advanced to finals, but we had to
be replaced with a backup team for the final rounds due to damage to out robot.
2017

In 2017, we earned our third award, Excellence in Engineering once again, and competed in the Quarterfinals of two of our three events.
2018

including twice as an alliance captain. This year was our busiest, with five competitions including the off-season.

cancelled for the Pandemic.
2021

we competed, and ranked above more than half the teams in the FNC District.

In 2022, Team 1225 jumped back into the competition, making it to the tournament in both of our official competitons and competing in
the final round in one, and competing in the tournament again in our off-season competition.

2025

In 2025, Team 1225 saw a lot of turnover. The team moved to a new location, and half the team was new to FIRST Robotics Competition
at the beginning of the build season. Even so, we managed to build an effective robot, performing well enough to be Alliance Captains in
the tournament round at both of our regional events.
